Oil paint on a paper bag nailed to a wooden board, used spray paint as primer. The background is a mess of things, nails, flies, handprints- all scraped over with a knife. Reference photo was of me posing with my first good stack of tip money, most of which being a single $100 bill and then rest all 1's.
Each year I age it both amazes and scares me to discover how much money people spend, whether voluntarily or having no other choice. I aspire to be cheap with every fiber of my being. I aspire to obtain the only best quality necessary and no more. If I can make do with below average then I will choose below average. Though if something is better for me in a nicer quality, I won't harm myself to stoop lower. Frugal when available. Escape materialism.
